Manawatu-Rangitikei Poultry & Produce Society
JDhe annual meeting of this society was held in Mr Bray's office last evening. Mr Saxon apologised on behalf of the Vice-President, Mr Sherwill, for bis unavoidable absence. Mr C. Bray, sen., was voted to the chair. The Secretary and Treasurer, Mr E. Goodbehere, read the minutes of the last general meeting held at Bulls on the 19th of May last, and these were then confirmed. It was resolved, That Mr Retemeyer be re-elected President, and Messrs J. Bull and Sherwill be re-elected VicePresidents of the society. It was resolved, That the following . gentlemen be appointed the geueral committee : — Messrs Saxon, Bray, H. Worsfold, T. Evans,, Curtis, Reading, Gichard, C. Roe, sen., Hastie, J. H. Stevens, Sandilands, Towler, Fry, L. Holden, J.W ilson, Lethbridge, C. Bull, Rutherford, P. Bartholomew, Haybittle, Kirton, Macarthur, S. Daw, Win. Bailey. It. was resolved, That the committee taaetf on Saturday evening next at the same' place aadbour. j This coacludajl the business.
