LONDON WOOL SALES.
London, June 4. The third series of colonial wool sales opened today. Messrs Baluie aud Sons and Jacoinb nnd Co.'s joint catalogue coiuprin«d nparly tea thousand bales, two-fifth* of which were from New Zealand. There was a Urge attendance* of buyers, and the biddidg was spirited. Crossbrods are firm at la»t raies to a halfpenny adrance, and merinos were in buyers' favour.
