[BEUTKBs' TELKGBAMB.I St. Pktkbsbuko, June 6. The Novosh Varemya newspaper publishes a telegram to-day stating that Abdurrahman Khan, Ameer of Afghanistan, has been murdered by his suite. London, June 5. In the House of Commons last night, Mr Gladstone stated that England and Russia had come to terms in regard to arbitration on the Afghan frontier question, and that both countries were agreed as to who was to be appointed arbitrator. June 7. Major-General Sir Peter Lumsden arrived here to-day from India, and met with an enthusiastic reception, being warmly cheered by a large crowd assembled to welcome him.
