BTEVENS & GORTONS REPORT.
June 3. Our yard* yesterday at Awahun were filled with stock, every pen bern« wanted. The attendance was lan;e, and bidding, ni.ire particularly for sheep, spirited ; but the reserve prices on the majority of the latter were too high. We sold nearly all the sheep and a good many cattle. We quote the following rates:— Fat cows, £3 15*; fo-ward cows, £3 ss; calves, 13s bi; weaners, 18s to 2ns; 18 month heifers, 355; fat wethers, lls 6d ; ewes in lamb, 8s 31 to 10s lOd . mixed sheep, 4Js to 7s lOd ; fat ewes, 8s 3d; store wethers;, 2 tooth to 4 teeth, 9s 7d ; shorn condition, 3s 9d.
