At the inquest at Skippers on John and James Mitchell, the father and son who were killed by a fall of stone l while stopping in the Phoenix mine, a verdiotof accidental death was returned. j No blame is attached to anyone. , It is supposed to have been caused by a small unnoticed crevice iii the ground above.* The sen was 15 years of age. The father leaves a wife and three children.
