The Financial Statement is likely to be delivered before the end of June. The finance of the year will involve very serious consideration. There are many additional charges, which will have to be provided for such ns the defence expenditure. Theincreas ing cost of education, the Kngluh Ex hibitioa contribution. &c, and the cost of governing New Guineii.
