General Sir Gerald Graham inspected the Australian contingent teday on their return twnn the front, and expressed himself greatly pleased with their efficiency. During the past tire nights the rebels have kept up a eontmual fire into tho camp at Otaoa, where a portion of the New Seuth Wales infantry and Coldstream Guards are stationed. Three of the Guard* have been wounded by the eneaty's fire.
