Arrival of the s.s. Kaikoura
. *> (per united press association). Wellinoton This Day. The R.M.S. -.' Eaikoura arrived at midnight pn Tuesday, the passage : occupying 45 days, which was caused principally by the vessel, having the misfortune to lose two blades of her . propeller. She left London on March ' 12th, and Plymouth two days later, ,! making the fastest run on record (4 j days 3 hours and 20 minutes) to •Teneriffe. The day after leaving, a | propeller blade was lost. She brings j 364 passengers. Her immigrants are Ito be distributed as follows :— WelI lington 21, Auckland 42, Nelson 13, Canterbury 31, Otago 35, Hawke's Bay 12,; Invercargill 6, Z^arlhorough 2, Taranaki 4, Wetland 5.
