Advertising Stock Sales Auctioneers in this district have day after day complained of the sluggishness of the farmers, settlers, and others who have stock for sale, in not sending in particulars of the lots they wish put up, or in many cases not taking the trouble to do thisy but bringing in their lots to the yards on the day of sah~s and taking advantage of their more enterprising neighbors who have had the prudence and forethought to give proper publicity to the kind of stock, they have for. the market. In fact they hope to share the advantages of the advertisements without paying for them. In this tbey>re,genei*ajly disappointed; for a charge is always made under jtlfis heading by .the auctioneer.
