The staff reconsidered the protest lodged against Lieutenant Puraell the disqualification was upheld. The Rifle Association meeting terminated this morning, when the Union Company's C«p was fired for, the winner being Parnlow, of Auckland. The ties ia the Carbine teiira match were fired off this ■nomine, resulting in the Auckland Artillery taking the third prize, and the Wellington Artillery the fourth. The Chrutehurcb. Artillery team arrived on the ground after the firing had ceased, and were not allowed to fire.
