Feilding Borough Council
A special meeting of the Borough Council was held at me Borougb Council Chamber on Thursday night. Present— The Mayor, and councillors •• Goodbehere, Fowles, Carthew Gichard, Nicholas, Bichardson, Thompsoajand> Worsfold. ! H The following resolution was pro-" posed by Or Goo lbehere, seconded by Cr Thompson and carried, That; the necessary steps be taken for . raising; s> loan of £216 for the purpose of constructing the requisite works at the Kiwitea stream, said loan to be secured by a special rate of 6d in the £for one year. . Cr Fowles proposed, and seconded by Cr Nicholas and carried, That the piledriving gear be hired to contractors fit the rate of one pound per week, the borrower to be answerable for all lamage, fair wear and tear exoepted, md that the Town Clerk be empowered » let the same.
