A telephone has been erected between the firing points at 500 and 600 yards aud the butts, and greatly facilitates the shooting. The shooting this morning is not anywhere near the average and the bursting up of champions and ex-ch: mpions *as the rule rather than the exception. Churton the present ohampiun went off altogether and at 500 yard* only made 10. For the future firing is to commence at 9 a.m. and cease at 6 p.m. _______^^___
