<• r At a meeting of the Wanga mi Harbor Board, held on Tuesday, the following among other business was transacted : — Manawatu Endowment. — Report fer Mr Hasseil, re opening roads and tracks through the board's endowment in the Pohangina and Oroua survey district, and recommending the immediate construction of curtain tracks tracks at a total cost of 4' 1886. in his exploration of the l.tnJ, he found the report of the survey department on the condition of tiie land to bv correct. After discussion, no action was taken re truck-mukiiig. Mr Cumfoot proposed that every alternate section be offered for cash, the remainder to be sold on deferred payments ; seconded by the chairman and carried. Memo from Commissioner of Crown Lands, acknowledging receipt of plans of Manawat Manchester blocks, and asking board's intentions re sale of sections.
