To start at 1.30 p.m. 5. — Hack Race, 10 soys; once round the course, 9st up. Same conditions as No. 2. Entrance, £1. To start at 2.15 p.m. €.— Wester Oats Handicap, 30 soys ; distance, 1 J miles. Nomination, £1; acceptance, £1. To start at 3 p.m. 7.— Tradesmen's Purse Handicap, 25 soys. Distance, 1 mile. Entrance, £1; acceptance, £1. The .^winners of the Feilding and Winter Oats Handicaps to carry penaltys of lOlbs and 71bs respectively. To start at 4 p.m.Nominations for Hurdle, Feilding, Winter Oats and Tradesmen's Handi- ' caps will close with the Secretary, Feilding, at 9 p.m., on Monday, March 9th. Entries for the Maiden Plate and acceptances for the Handicaps will close at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th. Handicaps will be published on or before March 16th. RULES. All entries must specify name, age, performances, name of owner, and colors of the rider. Entries will be received only upon this condition— that the decision of the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, shall in all cases be final. All races will be run under the W.J.C.
