The following extraordinary letter recently appeared in the Hawera Star, addressed to the editor: — Sib,— Will you kindly warn the Maori fungus-steal-ers. through your paper, that we are determined we will not be robbed quietly. Kennedy Macdonald and Co.'s sale at the Athenteum Hall on Thursday last.
