LAND SALE. mHIS COMPANY will sell by PUBLIC AUCTION, in the HALL of the ATHENiEUM, City of Wellington, on THURSDAY, 19th FEBRUARY, 1885, At 11 o'clock a.m. — THE WHOLE OF THEIR SECTIONS IN THE FITZHERBERT BLOCKS, Together with the TOWNSHIP OF LINTON And SUBURBAN SECTIONS Adiacent therete On the line of the Wellington and Manawatu Railway. The area to be sold in the Fitzherbert Blocks comprises from 18,000 to 19,000 acres of Agricultural and Pastoral Lands of First-class Quality, and is conveniently situated for access from the settled portions of the blocks. Each section has a. frontage to a road connected with the district roads, which i lead to the Railway Station at Linton, seven and a half miles from Palmerston North. The Township of Linton and Suburbs comprise about five hundred and fifty acres, and is the sito of the station, four miles from the junction of the Company's railway witli the Foxton-Taranaki line. The main road throuirh the FitzherberlJ Block lbads to the station and Township, and will be the terminus for the traffic of the district. The Upset Pbices fob Pastoral Lands will eange from 20s to 30s per •ACKK, AND FOR AGRICULTURAL LaXDS from 35s to 60s per Acu_. The aim of the Company being to sell their lands and to settle population upon! the same with a view to create traffic, the upset prices have been fixed at the above low rates in order to place their purchase; within reach of all classes. .. j The sections will be put up consecu-l tively as to position on tbe map, without* regard to running numbers, so that those: purchasers desirous of acquiring several' sections, to make a large block, can do so. • The Terms of Sale will be as follows:—; 12£ per cent, cash deposit- on the fall of the hammer j 12£ per cent, in one month from the date of sale, and the ret maining ■ 75 per cent, by acceptances falling due in three, six, and nine months from the date of salci with interest added at 8 per cent, per annum. The Title will be under the Lan-j Transfer Act, and special arrangements have been made with the Company's Sop licitor by which purchasers can obtain their Transfers at a great reduction upoi ordinary charges. j Plans of the Lands and schedules of upset prices can be seen al every Pos,t Office in the colony, and may be obtained on application at the Company's offices, Wellington and Paimerston North, and at the office of this paper. j - Full information how to inspect the sections will be furnished at the offices df the Company, Palmerston North, wherje, arrangements can be made by intending purchasers, on any day between the lsjt and 16th February, to have the guidance of competent persons to any section shewn for sale on the plans.
