HALCOMBE AND SHERWILL'S STOCK REPORTS.

At our sale of stock at Feilding on the sth February, there was an unusually large attendance of buyers. The sale was a very large one, our own yards being full besides those of Messrs Stevens and Gorton, kindly placed at our disposal by that firm. There were 460 bullocks yarded and 840 sheep. Prices realized — Beef, £5 JOs to £6 10s; 3-yr steers, £4 17s 6d to £6 2s ; 2-yr steers, £2 os to £2 15s; 3-yr heifers, £3; 2£ yr heifers, 13 Is ; cows, £1 to £3 ; milch cows, £2 10s to £8 ; yearling steers, £1 14s ; spayed heifers, £1 3s; weaners, 17s 6d to £1 ; fat sheep, 10s to 10s 6d ; store wethers, 9s ; store ewes, 6s 9d to 7s 3d ; lambs, os 5d to 5s 61 ; pigs (weaners), 6s 6d ; hacks, £6 10s. The whole of the stock was disposed of with the exception of six head of beef.

We held a successful sale at Ashurst yesterday. The entries were not numerous, but the bidding was brisk and the prices obtained very satisfactory to vendors. We quote — 18-months steers, £2 ; cows and heifers. £1 10s to £2 12s 6d; 2|yr steers. £3 5s to £4 6s; 3-yr steers, £4 15s ; weaners 18s ; beef (bulloclcs), £6 2s 6d ; beef (cows), £4 ; store ewes and wetliers, 8s 7 i.
