J LAND SALE. rTIHIS COMPANY will sell by PUBLIC AUCTION, in the HALL of the ATHENAEUM, City of Wellington, on THUESDAY, 19th PEBEUAEY, 1885, At 11 o'clock a.m. — THE WHOLE OF THEIR SECTIONS IN THE FITZHEEBEET BLOCKS, Together with the TOWNSHIP OF LINTON And SUBUKBAN SECTIONS Adiacent thereto On the line of the Wellington and Manawatu Eailway. The area to be sold in the Fitzherbert Blocks comprises from 18,000 to 19,000 acres of Agricultural and Pastoral Lands of First-class Quality, and is conveniently situated for access from the settled portions of the blocks. Each section has a frontage to a road connected with the district roads, which lead to the Eailway Station at Linton, seven and a half miles from Palmerston North. The Township of Linton and Suburbs comprise about five hundred and fifty acres, and is the site of the station, four miles from the junction of the Company's railway with the Foxton-Taranaki line. The main road through the Kitzherbert Block leads to the station and Township, and will be the terminus for the traffic of the district. The Upset Peices fob Pastoral Lands will range from 20s to 30a pku ACUE, AND FOB AgEICULTUBAL LaND^ FfiOM 35s TO 60s PER ACRB. The aim of the Company being to sell their lands and to settle population upon the same with a view to create traffic, the upset prices have been fixed at the above low rates in order to place their purchase within reach of all classes. The sections will be put up consecutively as to position on the map, without regard to running numbers, so that those purchasers desirous of acquiring several sections, to make a large block, can do so. The Terms of Sale will b« as follows:— 12| P er cent, cash deposit on the fall of the hammer 12? per cent, in one month from the date of sale, and the remaining 75 per cent, by acceptances falling due in three, six, and nine months from the date of sale, with interest added at 8 per cent, per annum. The Title will be under the Land Transfer Act, and special arrangements have been made with the Company's Solicitor by which purchasers can obtain their Transfers at a great reduction upon ordinary charges. : Plans of the Lands and schedule* of upset prices can be seen at every Post Office in the colony, and may be obtained on application at the Company's offices, Wellington and Palmerston North, and at the office of this paper.
