THE broken and rainy weather having delayed the surveys and plans of the Fitzherhert Block, the Company have found it necessary to postpone the day of sale until the middle of February. EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF WANGANUI. IN pursuance of the provisions of " The Education Act, 1877," it is hereby notified that a public meeting of householders in each of the undermentioned school districts shall be held at their respective schoolhouses on Monday, the 26th January, 1885, at 8 p.m., for'the purpose of receiving the annual leports of the school committees for the past year, and to elect new committees for the current year. At such time and place, and immediately after the elections, the board directs that the newly-elected committees shall hold their first meetings for the purpose of electing chairmen, and the names of such chairmen shall be at once forwarded to the board's secretary, viz., Feilding, Halcombe, Bunnythorpe, Makino road, Stanway, Ashurst, Sanson, Campbelltown, Awahuri, Aorangi, Taonui, Stoney Creek, Beaconsfield, Palmerston North, Carnarvon, Karere, Jackeytown, Foxton, Moutoa, Otaki,, Mangaone, and Kimbolton road.
