Anniversary Day
The Adversary of t^,s^ement of Feilding will be celebrated on Thursday next, when there will be a variety -of amusements; provided for tho public at the Oval: ' The Manchester Bifles will compete for the District prizes at the ranges, and there will be an entertainment in the Public Hall in tne evening. The attiractive bill of fare provided by Palmerston will take a large number of persons from Feilding, while the trains to Foxton and Wanganui. will be filled with pleasureseekers intent, on ..having. % " good time." -It is. to be/hoped^ however, that these counter attractions will not prevent the Feilding events being patronised sufficiently to cover the expenses of the committee. » . -
