[bEUTBB'B TELEGBAMB.] Hobabt, January 15. Arrived, this morning, lonic, from Plymouth, December 6. There ia no sickness on board, bat two deaths occurred during the voyage. Among the passengers are 217 emigrants. Sydney. January 15. Mr B. T. Booth, Blue Eibbon missionary, sailed for Auckland by the Ringarooma to-day. Mr James Service recently addressed Mr Stout regarding a conference of Premiers which is proposed shortly to be held, and enquired whether Mr Stout would be enabled to attend a conference if held in Melbourne or Hobart early in February. Mr Stout promised to give a definite reply early next week. Mr Blackburn, the chessplayer, played eight games blindfolded. He wen five; and three were drawn. In order to test the truth of the eon* fession made by the convict Barnes, that he had mordered the late J. B. Slack, who was believed to have committed suicide, the body has been exhumed, and on examination it was found that the bone of the throat was broken, leading to the belief that deceased was strangled, and that his throat was then cue.
