This to the bona fide settler who necessarily improves his land is equivalent to allowing the whole of the purchase money to remain on mortgage at 7 per cent. The purchaser can also have the privilege of paying off at any time the whole or part of the purchase money, such part to,be not less than £50, with a proportionate reduction in interest.
