(beuteb's tblbgbams.) Pabiß, January 6. Despatches from Tonquin state that General Negrier has again routed the Chinese troops near Chu. The enemy numbered 12,000, but were unable to maintain their ground. Their loss is estimated at 600 killed and wounded. A large quantity of arms and provisions were captured by the French. Received January- 8, 11.45 a.m. Pabis, January 0. Further reinforcements for the French army at Tonquin are under orders to embark. The troops, numbering 12,000 men, will sail^rom the Mediterranean ports at an early date.
