STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK 1 REPORT. We hold a successful sale at Feilding on Tuesday. Tlie yards were very fairly filled with both cattle and sheep, •ami the ph-asant change of the demand dicing greater than the supply was certainily experienced. The alteud-iuce was good, the bidding spirited, and the prices Yen 1 ised were in par with those at our last sale at Awahuri where such a marked improvement m rates was shown. We disposed of nearly all the lots, the majority being under the hammer. The following are the prices obtained :— 3 to -1 yrs bullocks, small lot, £4 10s ; 2-yrs steers, £3 7s 6d ; yearling steers 32s 6d ; Cows, a few witli calves, £3; fat cows, £4 to £4 2s6d ; forward cows, £3 10s ; store cows, 35-i to £2 ss ; 2-yrs heifers 38s 6d ; yearling heifers, £1 ; forward sheep, 8s 6d to 8s 9d ; 2 to 4 tooth mixed 8s 4d ; .horn ewes with lambs, 7s 6d ; fat sheep, 10s ; a pen of fat wethers passed) in at 10s 6d ; hacks, £2 to _3 15a.
