EWING V SAMUEL
TO TUB EDITOR OP THR STAR. Sir, — The Rangitikei Advocate, in the report of this case heard at Marton last Monday week, makes a most unwarranted and malicious attack upon me. The matter is now in the hands of my solicitor, but the publication of the report is so calculated to injure my business, that I ask you in common fairness to make it public that I have the Magistrate's authority for saying, that in every respect I conducted the case properly. — I -am, &c> Wm. S. Staite Feilding, 24th December, 1884.
