Installation of Mayor
Yesterday at noon H. L. Shetmll, fesbj, ! ™ : Called for ' the second time as Mayor of the Borough of Feilding." There were present, Crs 'Nicholas^Fowles, Carthew, and Goodbehere. After the Mayor elect had made the usual declaration, Cr Goodbehere, in a few well-chosen remarks, congratulated Mr Sherwill on the dignity he had attained for a second time.: He had every confidence that his public career m the future would b;e marked by -the/same success which had attended it during his' first year^of office. Mr Sherwill 1 having made a suitable reply the", meeting then separated., . 'We join with Cr Goodbehere in congratulating Mr Sherwill and are satisfied that he is " the right man in the right place," and that while he occupies, the Mayoral chair the functions and duties of the office will.be fulfilled with credit to the burgesses and honor to himself.
