DEFAULTING Ratepayers in tho Manchester Road District are liereby warned that as their rates have not yet been paid, notwithstanding three or four notices have been sent them, summonses will be taken out for next Court day at Feilding, the 24th December, for each and every defaulter, without respect of persons. Defaulters have therefore only themselves to blame if in addition to their rates (in many cases only a few shillings) they have to pay cost of summons, service thereof, and court, costs.
