Halcombe Notes

« The Presbyterian bazaar in aid of the ohurch building fund held here on Saturday the 6th inst., was, considering the weather, a decided success, and reflected great credit on the management committee. Many of the goods were disposed of by Dutch auction with the able assistance of Mr Sherwill. After paying all expenses the committee will be about £100 to the good. Mr Fergusson of Mangaone station has been ill for some time, but is now rapidly recovering. (These notes were dropped into the letter box of our old premises, hence the delay in appearing.)
