GoVernment Insurance Election

■ — - — "*: . Full particulars in connection with the election of Directors under the New Zealand Government Insurance Act, 1884, we published in our last iisue. It will be seen that any person, •whether a policy-holder or not, is eligible for the office of Director. The nomination paper must be signed by two policy-holders insured for a sura not less than £100, and also by the candidate himself. 'I he voting: qualification is the possession by a full- aged holder of a policy for a £100, and each holder will be allowed at each election as many votes as there are candidates to be elected, but will not b<* permitted to lump for any one candidate. Nominations must be sent by post to the Presiding Officer for the election or Direc'ors, or delivered, so addressed, at the Government Insurance Office. Wellington, so as reach that official by noon on December 20 next. Votingpapers can be obtained by policyholders at the Chief Office, Wellingtonor from .any district or resident agent" of 'tfiV Insurance Department ; also from any post office agency of the .department.; The nominators of any candidate must give tb.fi number of their respective ' policies, and the written - consent of the person so nominated to stand for election must appear on the voting paper. The election will be, held on Wednesday. the 7ih day ci, January. 3835.
