The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Jimitod, held their usual weekly wool sale to-day, when an important catalogue of some 4,300 bales was offered, and 3,600 sold. Thero vfas the usual large attendance of buyers, competition increasing, and tbe market being firmer for good merinos. Inferior greasy cross-breds vrcre slightly easier. Other wools were unchanged. At to-day's sale, greasy merinos sold up to 14d. and greasy cross-breds up to II _d; scoured merinos up to 19|d.
