CORRESPONDENCE.
♦- THE FEILDING CORPORATION & MANCHESTER BLOCK.
TO THB EDITOR OF THE STAB. Sir,— Mr Macartbur's reply to my letter is very clear and satisfactory, but there are one «r two points which require a slieht explanation before we pronounce our requiescat in pace. My letter was not written in a spirit of antagonism, such as Mr Maeartbur's sarcasm in his answer seems to imply. I penned my inquiries under a norn de plume because I waslrepresenting a portion ot the com- j munity more than the single individual, and I did not fco to the fountain head foi personal information bocause I considered it best to have questions or such genera, interest asked and answered in the most public manner, and set at rest in tin shortest and best way possible, namely, through the columns of a newspaper. - I am, &c, Mobb Light.
