Majm Kitchener telegraphs that information has reached him that Gordon has refused the Mahdi's summons to surrender, and that tho Madhi has since withdrawn from Khartoum, and announced his intention of making no further attack on the place for two months. .Received November 6, 0.55 a.m. Caibo, November 4. Mudir Dongola has been created a Knight Commander of tho Order of St. Michael and St. George. The ceremony of investiture was performed by General Lord Wolse) ey to-day at Dongola.
