Messrs Stevens and Gorton report : — At Feilding on 28th October we yarded about 200 bead of cattle aiul a pen of lat sheep. Tbe attendance was good but . the bidding rather dull, owing to the preponderance of the cattle being cows and heifers. We disposed of the majority ' <otthe pens at the following rales:— Fat cows, £3-l7s 6d to £6 Os ; fat heifers, £3 JTsto£4 6s-, small beef, £6; 18-month steers, £2 7» 6d ; yearling steers, 355 ; yearling heifers. 265 ; milch cows, £4 10s ; fat sheep, 13s 6d. j
