QOOp PRICES RULING. (BRCTKB's TSLEOBA3IS.) Ueceired October 9, 1 a.m. Melboubmb, October 8. Messrs Goldborough and Co. held their first wool auction for the season to-day There was a crowded attendance of Home Foreign, American, and local buyers, and brisk competition was experienced, especially for scoured wools. Ordinary greasy realised to 9jd and good scoured to 2ld. No superior lots were offered to-day. The catalogue comprised 1400 bales, ef which 1235 were sold.
