[PEB UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, This Day. The three ringleaders in the late effigy burning of the Hon. John Bryce were to-day fined 40i each for burning rubbish without giving notice to the Town Clerk. The K.M. deprecated the practice as a useless one, which he hoped would not occur again. Auckland, This Day. Henry Mitchell, of Hikurangi, Wangarei County, who had twice before attempted suicide, completed his purpose at tamo yesterday by cutting his throat.
