The prince of Wales, as Grand Master of the English Fi-eetn jsons, .laid the cornerstone of a chapel attached to the new St. Anne's Schools, near London, on July 9. The St. Anne's Society was founded in the vpar 1702 for the education of destitute orphan children born in a superior position. The following is a copy of th fl quaint address delivered' by the Prince of Wales, and always used at the laying of foundation-stones with Masonic honors :—" Men and brethren here assembled to behold this ceremony,-?-. They were entrusted in place and honor to the Masons of ancient times, and haying been faithfully transmitted to us, it is our duty to! convey them unimpaired to lasting posterity.
