HALCOMBE & SHERWILL'S STOCK EEPOET. At our stock sale* held at Feilding on the 18th inst we yarded 490 head of cattle and 1120 sheep. The attendance was large and the bidding brisk. Every lot sold readily under the hammer with the exception of a few of the female stock and two pens of fat sheep. The weather was most inclement. The following prices were realized :— Beef, £8 12s 6d ; three-year-old steers, £4 2s 6d ; two-year-old steers, £3 to £3 2s 6d ; 18-months-old steers, £2 9s to £2 15s ; three-year-old heifers, £2 to £2 10s ; two-yem' r>'d lifers, £2; cows (store), £1 11s to .''' ; v.3 (fat;, £6 7s; yearlings, £1 5s t>s£l 10s; calves (weaners), 208 to 255; fat sheep (wethers), 13s to 16s ; store wethers (half bred merino), 8s ; ewes and lambs (poor lot) 5s Id ; draught horses (fillej), £10 ; hacks, L9 to Ll2.
