ASHURST STOCK SALE.

Messrs Halcombe & Sherwill report:— At our sale of stock at Ashurst yesterday the attendance was not large, but most of those present were buyers. We yarded 90 head of cattle, the greater number of which were sold. Prices realised were — 3-yr-old steers, good, £5 2s 6d ; 2-yr-old steers, £2 13s offered ard refused ; cows, tore, £1 10s to £2 ss ; yearlings, £1 ss. We sold a buggy, horse, and harness for £29.
