In the House Mr Kichardson gave notice he would, on Tuesday i»ext, move I hat the following committee be appointed to report on the North Island Railway Route :— Atkinson, Bruce, Fitzherbert, Grey, Gore, Johnston, Mitchelaon, Morris, Ormond, White, and the mover. [In the names given we find several who are pledged supporters of certain routes already partially surveyed, notably Atkinson and Mitclielson. We certainly think that the member for Manawatu, Mr Mncarl hur, ought to be added to the number, in order that the claims of the Oroua Valley Route should be recognised. — Ed. F.S.] •
