Miss Carry Nelson
Thi-*- talented lady- appeared in the Public Hall^last night, supported by Mr M'Fadyen and Miss Lottie. The performance was altogether very good. The musical parts by Miss Nelson were well rendered and she was frequently applauded.y Mr M'Fadyen recited several pieces in good style, but that of " Tarn o' Shanter" appeared tp be the most appre-. dated. He was. particularly happy, in: making the "points" jof the atory. The performance ou the whole' may he called very clerer. In some parts we. observed a "raciness" which could hare been spared. Certain errers in costume were also obserrable, which could easily be adjusted. Miss Lottie danced a High» land fling and horn pipe with considerable skill and vivacity . The company will appear again this evening, and we are certain that' there will be a good attendance of ,»ll thpse who are really desirous of two hours' enjoyment.
