Wellington, August 23. G. Thomas reports produce as follows : There have been some changes in different lines, all of an upward tendency ; but whether this is occasioned by a temporary exhaustion of stocks.it is rather difficult Ito determine. Potatoes are very firm at L 3 lOs, sacks in ; fine pollard L 5 15s to Lb* ; bran, L5 ; maize, 5s 6d. Oats are reported from the South us having advanced quite 2d per bushel, but the prices here still rue from 2s od to 2s 7d ; beans 4s ; flour, from L 9 lOs to LlO lOs ; fowls' wheat from 2s 6d to 3s ; feed barley. 2s 6d ; Adelaide, Ll4 , hams, bacon and cheese are unaltered ; eggs, ls 3d ; fowls 3s 9d; geese, 7s; ducks, os; turkeys, lOs. There is no difference in the fruit market. Apples rule from lOs to 14s, oranges from lOs, and pines 6s 6d.
