BEUTEfi's TELEGBAMB. London, August 19. The cricket at Cheltenham — Austra* lians t Gloucestershire— WOB resumed to-day. The weather was showery and the attendance of spectators only small. The Australians, with two wickets down for 176, continued their innings and scored 402 before they were all disposed 6f. The following were the principal scorers t — Murdoch, b, 89 ; Scott, run out,' 65 ; Giffen, c, 91 ; Bonnor, c, 53 ; Blackham, c, 30. The Home team, who had, only scored 183 in their fiSt innings, then went in for its second time, but owing ■_ te to the wicket being out up, the bowlingof the visitors proved almost unplayable and consequently none of the batsmen ' made any stnnd. The score stood- at A the end of the day's play at 7 wickets for 33 runs. The remaining three players' require to make 182 runs to avert a one inning's defeat. - ;••''.
