A Shocking Death
Further particulars have been received respecting the horrible death in the bush of a man named Crinion, whose body was recently found at Donovan's Creek, above Marysvilloj 'Victoria), in a dreadfully mutilated condition, having been torn to piece* by the wild dogs and native cats. Oh receipt ot the news the faring of the body, Constable Woods, of Marys ville (Victoria), immediately left accompanied by five volunteers, and upon arriving at the spot a horrible spectacle: met their gn*e r the- body being: hall clad, and in an advanced state of decomposition, and minus the head aud legs. Diligent, search was made by the constable to find the head and legs, but without avHil. The mutilated trunk of the unfortunate man was put -into an old eluice box and buried on the spot. •J he small gunyan in which the deceased liveri was only six hy four feet, and upon the constable crawling into the place, the only utensil found was a billy can, which contained some water and wiiich had evidently been placed upon the fire to boil ' '1 he only article of consumption . found was a bag containing* "abbtrt four pounds of -flour.
