" King" Tawhaio and the members of the Maori embassy, will hare audience of Her Majesty the Queen to-day at Osborne, j The Daily News, in its issue this morning, publishes a telegram stating that a serious risiug has occurred in the south west provinces of Yemen, on the I Red Sea coast of Arabia. The Arab insurgents declaied themselves followers lof the Mahdi, and mustered in great ■ force. Sava, the capital of the province, I yielded to them, and they also captured I several towns and villages. The governor of the province found himself eutirely unable to cope with the insurgents.
