Miscellaneous mO THE ELECTORS OF MANAWATU. Gentlemen, — I beg to return my most hearty and grateful thanks to my supporters in the late election and to assure them that I will do my best to justify their confidence. I wish also especially to thank those who kindly placed vehicles and committee rooms at my disposal, and the members of my various committees who worked so energetically at, in many cases, great personal inconvenience. To those who opposed me I wish to say that I hope by my actions in Parliament to convert them into supporters at the next election. On my part there exists not the slightest ill feeling against any elector for exercising his undoubted right to express his political opinions by opposing me, and I shall, as member for the district, strive to represent all, whether opponents or supporters, equally and faithfully. I remain, Gentlemen, Faithfully and gratefully yours, D. H. MAOAETHUE. THE FEILDING FUENITUBE & . BEDDING WAEEHOUSE. Manchester Street. TTIUENITUEE CHEAPEE THAN JC EVEE.
