MAORIS ASSEMBLING AT PARIHAKA. [PEB tJNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION] Wellington, This Day. Mahuki and 25 Waikato natives arrived at Parihaka yesterday and every day there are fresh arrivals. Te Whiti has not yet made any statement as to what line ot action he will take, but Tohu says everything is now coming all right and he will get back the land for the natives. As the planting season is now approaching it is considered likely that the natives now assembled at Parihaka will remain to put in the crops, and as there is sure to be some turbulent natives among the assemblage, it is thought that trouble may arise in their attempting to occupy the land of settlers. It is understood that no steps will be taken to disperse the natives from Parihaka unless, they commit some lawless action and one which might lead to bloodshed. The total number of natives now at Parihaka is about 1500^^^^^^^^^
