The N.Z.L. & M.A. Company report :— Dunkdik.— The works at Bnrnside continue in full operation. The s.s. British Queen has just cleared, taking 8467 carcases mutton, and another shipment in beins prepared tor the s.s. Coptic. CHBisTCHfHCH. — S nee last report the works at Belfast hare been kept fully .employed. The Doric, which Railed 4th • July, en rried 7559 carcases from this port, and the Buarehu, sailing in a few days, will be supplied with about 7500 carcases. Th* 1 Cop'ic will follow early in August with 4000 carcases.

Oamabtt. — A new feature in the shipping annals of Oamaru was the arrival of the ship Dunedin (1,250 tons), to load the first cargo of frozen mutton direct from this port to London. Immediately on arrival, the Dunedin was berthed, and commenced loading her cargo, which is to consist of about 8,500 sacks of grain. The s^c-jp are being killed at the Totara Estai j •ind the loading it is expected will be finished in about a month. WzLh-'QTOS. — The s.s. Doric sailed from this port on the 27th ult. with 2000 carcases of mutton ; and the Buapehu will leave this week with about 5000 carcarcases, Napieb.- -Since our last report, the s.s. Bombay has cleared with 8815 carcases of mutton. The s.s. Coptic is expected here to load next week.
