The barque Vanguard, 688 tons/ which arrived here from London, reports that on the llth inst. she came into collision twit h^ the barque Farninghaiii, c ; -'28l? tons, bound lrom Port Chalmers' to Adelaide, while off Tasmania. The Famingbam suffered severely and sank in five minutes. All on board' were saved except three seamen, who were below and ; could not rescued by the Vnnguard.
