(beutkr's telkghams), London, July 12. The cricket match at Manchester, Australians v All England, was resumed this nwrnmg in fine weather and before a large attendance of people. The Australians with seven wickets down con* liuued their first innings. Midwinter* not out of the previous day, enly added eight to his score, when he was caught. Palmer and Spofforth made a abort stand, but the hater succumbed when he had contributed 13. Boyle joined Palmer but was soon bowled and the innings closed, Palmer carrying out his bat for .'4. The Australian total, as already telegraphed, was 182, or 87 ahead of the Knglishmen. The latter went in for their xecond innings, which lasted until time was called, when they had scored 180 with nine wickets down, the match thus ending in a draw. For the Englishmen most of the bntsmen secured double figures. The following were the highest scorers— Grace, b, 31 ; Barlow, b, 25 ; Steel, c, 18 ; Lucas, b, 24 ; Shrewsbury, not out, 14; O'Brien, c, 2<). The bowling of the Australians throughout the afternoon was excellent and dead on the iricket.
