A YOUNG MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF THROUGH LQVh, V -. (PBB UNITED PBEBB ASSOCIATION.)- ' Auckland, This Day. *' Bernard Jones, a Naval Artilleryman*, - shot himself on Tuesday night with his . carbine in his room owing to a love affair with a girl, Mary Ann McKenha, a who is leaving Auckland today. She was engaged to another young man. The '. bullet went in the breast over' the heart coming out at tlie shoulder-blade and striking the wall. Jones diecTat 9 o'clock. He met the girl in the' street at 5, and' ' bade her good-bye, saying she would ' never see him again. He had been drinking on Monday.*
